Applying For Financial Support

Students must be fully enrolled on their 2026/27 course before they can access and use the PayMyStudent system.

To apply for a bursary at Carlisle College, please read the eligibility criteria here: Fees and Finance Support at Carlisle College and then complete the following steps:

Note: If you are aged 16–18 (or a 19+ continuer / 19–25 student with an EHC Plan) and living in Scotland, you are not eligible to apply for the Carlisle College Bursary. You must instead apply through the Scottish Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) scheme. Important (New Students Only)

If you are a new student for 2026/27, you must complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) before submitting an application.

  • MFA can be completed 6 hours after enrolment.
  • You must complete MFA before using “Sign in with Microsoft” or the system will not recognise your login.

 

How to Submit an Application

Step 1: Log in by selecting “Sign in with Microsoft”

Step 2: Complete all sections, upload all required evidence, read and accept the Terms and Conditions, and sign and submit your application.

 

NOTE: Evidence can be uploaded via your laptop/phone/tablet.

Login using your Carlisle College Microsoft account

If you are a Returning Student who has already completed Multi-Factor Authentication select “Sign in with Microsoft”

If you are a New Student, you must complete Multi-Factor Authentication  before selecting the “Sign in with Microsoft” option.

When you sign in with Microsoft you must enter your student email address in the following format: [email protected]
